NHS App
You can use the NHS App to check your symptoms and get instant advice, order repeat prescriptions, view your GP medical record and more.
What the NHS App does
- Get advice about Coronavirus – get information about Coronavirus and find out what to do if you think you have it.
- Order repeat prescriptions – see your available medicines, request repeat prescriptions and choose a pharmacy for your prescriptions to be sent to. Please note, if you are on “Repeat Dispensing” your medication will not show until you are due to order it.
- Book appointments – search for, book and cancel appointments at your GP surgery, and see details of your upcoming and past appointments. Please note, appointment booking is available via GP Services – Contact your GP surgery about a health problem. This will be assessed and a link sent for you to book an appointment if required. You can also book an appointment via our Contact Us Online form via Medical Request.
- Check your symptoms – search trusted NHS information and advise on hundreds of conditions and treatments, and get instant advice or medical help near you.
- Register your organ donation decision – choose to donate some or all of your organs, and check your registered decision.
- Find out how the NHS uses your data – choose if data from your health records is shared for research and planning.
- View parts of your GP record – including information about medication, allergies, vaccinations, previous illnesses and test results.
Patient Access
Patient Services allow you to:
- Book appointments – search for, book and cancel appointments at your GP surgery, and see details of your upcoming and past appointments. How to register
To register for online services, you will need to do the following:
- Collect an “Online Access” form from the surgery
- Complete this fully
- Return to the surgery with Photo ID and proof of address so we can confirm your Identity
- You will then receive an email within 30 days containing the Linkage Key, ODS Code, and Account ID – don’t forget to check your Spam/Junk Folders
- Enter Patient Access and enter your registration details
- After registering, log on with your username and password.

Another way to contact us to book appointments, get test results, change pharmacy nominations and order prescriptions is via: Rapid Health – all you need to do i ensure we have an email address for you on your records. Please note, Medical Requests via this is for 16years+ only.
You can still come into the practice and hand in your paper prescription request in person, these are just other options, which patients have found more convenient, saves them time and is available 24 hours a day.
